Opinsys Oy Oma Service Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

1. About the Service
Oma (hereinafter referred to as the service) is a system provided by Opinsys Oy to its customer
organizations for managing their own data. The service features include management of devices being
decommissioned from customers and the ability for students to redeem devices.
The service users are teachers, staff members, or students of customer organizations.
The service is only available to customer organizations that have a service agreement with Opinsys Oy.
2. Use of the Service
Users log in to the service with their personal credentials (Opinsys credentials or MPASSid login).
Opinsys Oy uses organization information obtained from login (municipality, school, user group)
to verify access rights to the service and to target and limit the features available there.
3. Responsibilities in the Service
Opinsys Oy is responsible for the technical functionality of the service in accordance with separate
customer-specific agreements.
Users are responsible for personal or organizational settings and changes made through the service.
4. Data Controller and Data Processor
The data controller is the user's organization, which has an agreement with Opinsys Oy for using the
service. Opinsys Oy acts as a data processor in the service.

Personal data in the service is processed only by Opinsys Oy staff members.

All personal data in the service is obtained from organization login systems.

- Login system identifiers (e.g., Student ID)
- Device IP addresses in service logs
9. Use of Cookies
The service uses only essential technical cookies to maintain session information.
No user profiling or analytics data is collected.
